Pussyfoot The Homeless Cat Joined A Nursing Home And Was Hired

Oreo, a cat, managed to find her way into a nursing home and secure employment for herself. She acts as the local family. In Cleveland, Ohio’s St. Augustine Health Ministries, the receptionist Carmen Delgado said, “She helps the residents, she helps the personnel, and we simply adore her.

The small cat is well-likеd by both the customers and the staff members. “Most of the clients here had animals… So having Oreo here and allowing people to pet the cat and check on the cat’s wellbeing… it provides… those sensations of home, according to Dana Carns, director of advancement.

Even on the weekends or at night, the staff continues to take images for me. Oreo is either “sitting on a bench with a resident who is waiting for her transportation” or “Oh look, Oreo is at the reception desk, answering the phone because it is after hours.”

“When Oreo arrived, the villagers were ecstatic. They all adore her and go looking for her to cuddle with,” gushed Carns.

Oreo, somehow, got into a nursing home and got a job for herself.

“She’s likе the family here. She helps the residents, she helps the employees, and we just love her.”

“Most of the people we serve here had pets… so to have Oreo here… to be able to come out and pet the cat. And see how the cat is doing… it brings… those feelings of home.”

Because it is beyond business hours, Oreo is answering the phone at the front desk.

“I think it just brings a lot of laughter, a lot of smiles, and a lot of just normalcy.”
